A Triumphant Return: Bendigo Bank Tunarama Back Strong in 2026, Looking to 2027!
After a short break, Bendigo Bank Tunarama made a triumphant return in 2026 — bigger, brighter and bolder than ever.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Port Lincoln, the 2026 festival marked a brand-new chapter for one of Australia’s most iconic regional events. Across three action-packed days from 16–18 January, more than 20,000 locals and visitors came together to celebrate the best of tradition and transformation — honouring over 60 years of heritage while embracing an exciting new vision for the future.
Crowds flocked to all the festival favourites, from the legendary Tuna Toss and vibrant street parade to fresh local seafood, family fun and a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the foreshore. New experiences and showcases proudly highlighted Port Lincoln’s reputation as the Seafood Capital of Australia, alongside live music, cooking demonstrations, local wine and produce, multicultural events, market stalls and Sideshow Alley running all weekend long.
Whether a long-time fan or first-time visitor, Tunarama 2026 proved to be more than a festival — it was a homecoming, a celebration, and a powerful reminder of what this much-loved event means to the community.
✨ And now, the countdown begins.
Planning is already underway for Bendigo Bank Tunarama 2027, with dates to be announced shortly — or save the date for 15–17 January 2027 and get ready to do it all again.
