The entrance off Whaling Station Road leads to a big camping area on privately owned land next to the council owned campsites. No facilities, sorry, but there is public toilets at the council carpark. Campers must only use the claypan area and not camp in the bush. Strictly no collecting of firewood, interference with the vegetation or leaving of any rubbish. Nearby attractions Whalers Way, Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary and the Port lincoln National park.
