Day One

A short 45-minute flight from Adelaide will have you touching down in no time, while those opting for a road trip can enjoy a leisurely 650-kilometre drive, with the option to take the ferry from Wallaroo to Lucky Bay for a unique travel experience.
Start your morning in Port Lincoln with breakfast from the Beach Bakery located on the foreshore, there’s sure to be something to please the whole family with a range of freshly baked goods, delicious coffee, acai bowls & smoothies.
Afterwards, take a stroll along the foreshore, exploring statues and monuments that showcase Port Lincoln’s rich history. The kids will love the inclusive Nature Play Space, and you can even pick up a bit of Auslan along the way—making for a fun and educational family outing.
While the children are having fun in the play space, take a moment to pop across the road to the award-winning Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre. It’s your go-to spot for local insights and helpful assistance. Grab your complimentary local maps, where the friendly staff will highlight the must-see tourist drive and share a list of hidden gems around the area. Once you’re settled, fire up the BBQ for a laid-back lunch while soaking in the remarkable views of Porter Bay.
After lunch, set out on the Parnkalla Walking Trail, a scenic coastal path where you can follow the trail to Shelly Beach, a significant first nations site and a great spot for the kids to explore safe rock pools, whilst you soak up the tranquil beauty of the Port Lincoln coastline.

Day Two

While you're there, stop by Brinkworth Reserve for a peaceful stroll through natural bushland. It’s the perfect escape, especially for little explorers with a sense of curiosity.
Now having worked up an appetite you can enjoy breakfast with a touch of French flair at L'Anse French Café & Croissanterie, a destination in itself where you can savour a scrumptious French breakfast with a window view of the pastry chefs hand crafting their croissants.
If you're after something for on the go, treat yourself to a freshly brewed coffee paired with their take on a classic French Viennoiserie—flaky, buttery croissants that take three days to perfect, ensuring every bite is light, crisp, and utterly indulgent.
Just 15 minutes from Port Lincoln, the Glen Forest Tourist Park and home to Lincoln Estate Winery is the ultimate family day out. Great spot for a relaxed light lunch in the heart of nature. Challenge yourself with a round of putt-putt golf, navigate the maze, ride segways through the vines, and enjoy up-close encounters with Australia’s fascinating native wildlife. There truly is something for every family member at this fun tourist park.
For the afternoon spend some time diving into Port Lincoln’s rich maritime heritage with a visit to the Axel Stenross Maritime Museum, a standout destination for families. Day Three

For a unique experience, hop aboard Fred’s Marina Canal Cruise on the MV Tesla, an eco-friendly electric boat.
