Join the EMS Team, Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Barngarla elders and Scientists for a pub meal and learn more about First Nations connection to Sea Country and how our Marine and National Parks protect mangroves, saltmarshes, shorebirds, sea lions and sharks. Hear presentations from local marine ecologist Janine Baker on seahorses and their relatives as well as from Dr Dominic McAfee (Adelaide University) and Manny Katz (Coffin Bay Scuba) about oyster reef ecology, history and local restoration projects. Sit back and experience a mesmerising dive with giant cuttlefish, rays, Port Jackson sharks, sea lions and other local marine life from the comfort of your chair via VR goggles and learn more about the lifestyle of and how our Marine Parks protect sea lions, sharks, rays and giant cuttlefish.
