Homegrown and Heavy

If you love your music loud, heavy and original, get ready, South Australia, because Homegrown and Heavy is hitting the road!
Two of Adelaide’s fastest rising heavy bands are heading to Soundcity on Friday 13 March.
Terra Axis is an Australian hard-hitting rock/metal group from the northern suburbs of Adelaide. The band formed with a shared passion for grunge as well as a fondness for the light and shade offered by the post-grunge/nu-metal scene. They released their debut album, Under Duress, in December 2021 which was followed up by a four track EP in 2024.
Tackling heavy topics, Terra Axis do not shy away from the scandals of religion, politics, fascism, and prejudice. This attitude combined with a solid groove creates the perfect setting for the band’s emotive storytelling.

The kings of melody, Nakatomi Plaza, are still riding a wave of excitement following the release of their debut album in late 2025. But wait, there’s more! The Jasons (yes, there are three of them) will be launching their brand new single, Salem, at this show. See you down the front for all the energy, camaraderie and anthemic singalongs that have become the Nakkers trademarks.
Whether it’s hard rock, metal, progressive rock or nu-metal, HOMEGROWN & HEAVY has something for everyone, so grab a mate or three and we’ll see you at Soundcity on Friday 13 March!
