Surfing
Surfing is a way of life in Australia. Would you like to join the beach culture? Learning to surf is for everyone of all ages and absolutely no experience needed.
At Xtreme Kites & Paddle we offer surf lessons with qualified instructors in the turquoise waters of Fishery Bay. The clear shallow water and peeling waves of the bay enable us to teach you safely the skills required to stand up and ride you first wave. If you are already riding, we can take you to the next level to smash a few turns or take you to your first point break.
We are passionate about our lessons, not only do we simulate on the beach first all the steps of how to paddle, stand up and explain water safety we also stay by your side every moment in the water to give positive feedback after every wave to ensure your surfing experience with Xtreme Kites & Paddle is a positive one.
Kayaking
Discover the crystal clear water and rugged coastline of the Eyre Peninsula with a local guided tour, or create your own adventure with hire options available. Learn to paddle whilst taking in the magical coastal scenery and observe the native wildlife on the shore and in the water. Spot dolphins, sting rays , jellyfish and loads more of our majestic marine creatures. It's not rare to see Emu's taking a bath on our Farm Beach tours or even a kangaroo on the beach.
We have double and single kayaks available with our tours or to hire.
Sand Board Hire
Take advantage of Lincoln and Coffin Bay National Parks sand hills, hire a stand up or sit down board and go for a sand boarding ride. Climb the ever changing giant dunes and enjoy the panoramic views and then reward yourself with an adrenaline rush race back down. The nearest and best location is Wanna Sandhills in Lincoln National Park which is only 25 mins from the CBD. Visit stunning sites such as Wanna Lookout,Climb Stamford Hill and swim at Surfleet or Spalding Cove Beaches.
This is a great affordable activity from $50 for 4 hrs for the whole family and an easy way to wear the kids out!!
Sandboarding is a perfect half, full day or evening activity for families, backpackers , adventure seekers and will create memories for a lifetime. Self guided and no 4wd needed. Contact them for the best locations and where to pick the boards up from in town.
