Start your weekend by the ocean with nourishing yoga, breath and meditation at this FREE event – with a view overlooking the tranquil waters of Boston Bay. Move with yoga shapes and stretches, practice foundational breath techniques, and meditate upon the local land and ecosystems with an embodied connection and acknowledgment of country. Walk away feeling invigorated, refreshed, balanced and connected.
The Lower Eyre Peninsula abounds in pristine ocean-scapes, rolling hills and native bushland – the perfect location to celebrate and tend to our own inner connections with the ecosystems that we live within and upon. With a rich history of indigenous custodianship and connection to country, and an ever increasing urgency of cultivating sustainable living with the lands and local waters – here we will do just that…but instead of just learning and connecting from the outside, we also journey within. Practice to feel the connections rekindling as our own inner-scapes refresh and renew, and cultivate a sense of wellbeing in shared community practice.
All practices will be foundational and accessible to beginners. This is a free community event generously hosted by Hotel Boston, catered by Ethical Kitchen and funded by Nature Festival, with the intention to provide accessible wellness to those who otherwise might not usually feel comfortable attending yoga studios or classes, and/or cannot afford it. A warm drink will be served and shared after your session with Sarah, as you integrate your wellness experience and feel invigorated to continue out into the rest of your day.
