We are offering a week of meditation experiences. Meditation is about coming to stillness of mind, body and spirit. Despite all the distractions of the modern world, this silence is perfectly possible for people today. Join us for one or all of these events to discover how.
Saturday 20: Back to Basics: an introduction to meditation, presented by State Coordinator Rev Dianne Schaefer,
10.30am – Morning tea
11.00pm – Chi Quong gentle movement with Rose
11.30pm – Introduction to meditation
12.30pm – Lunch (allergy free lunch provided)
1.30pm – Q&A panel of experienced meditators,
2.30pm – Meditation practice.
Sunday 21
2.00pm – 4pm – “What in the World is MU?” display and talks
5.00pm – Evening prayer and meditation.
Tuesday 23
2.00pm – 4.00pm – Quiet morning: reflection on “SALT” including a contemplative walk.
Wednesday 24
10.00am – 12.00pm and 1.00pm – 4.00pm individual meditation consultations
6.00pm – Singing bowls (please bring your singing bowl if you have one)
6.30 pm – Guided visualisation for peace (led by Nel).
Thursday 25
2pm – 4pm Quiet afternoon: reflection on “LIGHT” including a contemplative walk.
Saturday 27
10 am – Introductory yoga, for beginners
1pm – Drumming workshop
