DESCRIPTION:Join Marine Janine\, Carl Charter and Dr Shelley Paull for a rock pool search and photography session on the intertidal reef at Crinoline Point\, Coffin Bay. The area is home to a wide variety of sea slugs\, snails\, chitons\, keyhole limpets\, and many other marine invertebrates. The rock pool search provides an opportunity for attendees to put their slug- and snail-finding and photography skills into practice. Please bring a waterproof camera or splashproof phone if you have one. \nNOTE: This event is for adults\, and for children aged 8 years and over who are accompanied by an adult. \nNOTE: Some rocks at Crinoline Point intertidal Reef can be slippery. For safety reasons\, participants in this event should have full mobility and must wear suitable non-slip footwear (e.g. reef shoes or sneakers/sports shoes). For safety NO THONGS OR SANDALS ARE PERMITTED. \nNOTE: All participants need to attend on time\, for the compulsory safety briefing about reef hazards.

Proudly supported by National Parks and Wildlife Service and Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board. Join local marine biologist and Marine Parks manager Dr Shelley Paull\, and accredited guides for a guided snorkel at Mount Dutton Jetty. The jetty is home to an amazing variety of colourful plants\, decorator crabs and fish life. The ticket price includes guide\, wetsuits and snorkel gear for adults and children. \nWe have wetsuits from adult 5XL down to size 4 child. Suitable for children 5 years and above who can tread water and swim. At least one parent to accompany and supervise two children in the water. 5-7-year-olds can participate if supervised one-on-one by a parent. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Two bands touring together from NSW’s south coast\, come to Port Lincoln in September.\nCaliko are a duo comprising of Ness Quinn and Paul Greene. They formed out of connection through a mutual passion for songwriting and harmonies.\nNess Quinn was discovered as a songwriter by Kasey Chambers and went on to form ‘Hot Spoke’ with members of Boy & Bear. She has collaborated with Norah Jones’s band\, Jet\, and is now releasing her captivating songs with Caliko.\nPaul Greene is well known on the Eyre Peninsula and has collaborated with Rob Hirst of Midnight Oil\, as ‘Hirst & Greene’ and produced albums for Greg Arnold\, Kirsty Lee Akers and James Blundell.\nTheir musical chemistry is palpable – Ness with her angelic vocals and acoustic guitar plus Paul Greene on Baritone\, adding stunning texture and harmonies that sonically belies the sum of their parts.\nCaliko’s releases have been charting on the Regional AMRAP charts throughout 2024.\nRobyn Martin presents an intimate and soulful live music experience. Her distinctive voice and thought-provoking folk and indie-leaning arrangements wrap the listener up and invite them on a journey into the beauty\, complexity & fragility of the human experience.\nWith a sound that is distinctly Australian\, her music traverses a wide terrain from deep pocket soul\, mixed with heartwarming\, thought provoking folk sensibilities\, to the occasional banjo driven hoedown singalong and a sprinkle of grungy angst rock.\nThis will be a special evening of story and song.\nGates at 7.30p
