Rooted in the blues with sprinkles of soul and funk\, this band made the top six at the International Blues Challenge in the USA in 2023.\nThe debut album\, Shakin’ (peaked at #1 on the ABARAC charts) was recorded over a three year period and showcases the band’s development from SA southern vales favorites to an international level powerhouse that wowed the judges in the home of Stax Records\, Sun Studios and the hallowed ground of the Beale Street clubs.\nProgressing all the way to the Grand Finale at the Orpheum Theatre\, this band did what only one other Australian band in the history of the IBC challenge\, the legendary “Collard\, Greens and Gravy”from Melbourne\, had achieved.\nJoining us is local trio Sugarfoot!

DESCRIPTION:Port Lincoln is a popular destination for cruise ships. The cruise ship season usually runs from October to April with the number of ships visiting Port Lincoln varying year to year. \nWith each ship visit there is approximately 2500 passengers and 1000 crew that disembark and visit the city. These large numbers of visitors significantly increase the number of people in the CBD\, which is positively managed with the wonderful assistance of our Cruise Ship Volunteers. In previous years Port Lincoln has received accolades as being voted as best port by passengers according to South Australian Tourism Commission market research. \nThe number of Cruise Ships to visit Port Lincoln continues to increase.
