DESCRIPTION:Port Lincoln is a popular destination for cruise ships. The cruise ship season usually runs from October to April with the number of ships visiting Port Lincoln varying year to year. \nWith each ship visit there is approximately 700-3600 passengers and up to 1000 crew that disembark and visit the city. These large numbers of visitors significantly increase the number of people in the CBD\, which is positively managed with the wonderful assistance of our Cruise Ship Volunteers. In previous years Port Lincoln has received accolades as being voted as best port by passengers according to South Australian Tourism Commission market research. \nThe number of Cruise Ships to visit Port Lincoln continues to increase. DESCRIPTION:Port Lincoln is a popular destination for cruise ships. The cruise ship season usually runs from October to April with the number of ships visiting Port Lincoln varying year to year. \nWith each ship visit there is approximately 700-3600 passengers and up to 1000 crew that disembark and visit the city. These large numbers of visitors significantly increase the number of people in the CBD\, which is positively managed with the wonderful assistance of our Cruise Ship Volunteers. In previous years Port Lincoln has received accolades as being voted as best port by passengers according to South Australian Tourism Commission market research. \nThe number of Cruise Ships to visit Port Lincoln continues to increase. DESCRIPTION:How do you paint memory? Have you ever looked at a portrait and wondered why additional objects have been included? Have you ever wondered about the objects painted in a Still Life painting? These things may tell you a little more about the person in the portrait or the painter of a Still Life setting. \nWell\, the Port Lincoln Art Group decided to make Still Life paintings that tell a story about the owner of the objects. The owner maybe an art group member\, they could be a friend or a family member. Why do these items mean a lot to them\, do they suggest what they love\, what they collect or what they are interested in? \nArt group members will present an exhibition of Still Life paintings that capture memory. Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear details of the “Still Life stories” by clicking on a QR code.

Expect a genre‐hopping line up featuring Brass Souls\, Danger Fog\, Grotto\, Jake Daulby\, Jessie Hyde\, Cookie Farmers\, and more — from swampy grooves to acoustic soul. \nTickets are just $30\, kids under 18 get in free\, and camping’s on the house. BYO drinks and snacks\, or treat yourself to local legends: Jump Ship Brewing’s crisp beers\, Coomunga Wines’ famous mulled wine (which may or may not cure heartbreak)\, and fresh slices from Fat Crust Pizza\, who’ll be firing up the good stuff all afternoon. The sausage sizzle will be sizzling too — bring your appetite and your best festival banter. Hosted by SALT Festival and the Big Swamp Community Centre\, SWAMPSTOCK is a fundraiser supporting the ongoing upkeep and community programs of the Big Swamp Community Centre. \n  \nIt’s an all‐ages event with a strict “no big tables” policy.
